Her Excellency  Dr. Madeha Bint Ahmed Al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education paid an official visit to a number of schools at Al Batinah South in relation to provision of quality education. 
Her Excellency visited Balad-Sait Basic Education School (1-12), Hat Basic Education School and Al Awabi Basic School (1-4).  The purpose of the visit is to stand on real situation of education process of learning and teaching on ground .The minister accompanied by Dr. Nasser Al Abri, the General Director of Al Batinah South, departments’ heads and others.
During the visit, HE the minister met with teachers and schools’ principals and discussed work progress, recognize responsibilities, needs and challenges as well the students’ achievements levels, reading and writing difficulties, development proposals and schools initiatives. Her Excellency the minister also visited the schools infrastructures including classes, labs and other buildings at these schools.
Her excellency emphasized the importance of raising the society´s awareness of learning time in order to give students their rights in spending sufficient time at learning process and the necessity to give parents opportunities to follow up their sons in the schools .She added that, there must be a great concentration on the role of mothers’ and fathers’ councils role and to activate their role in making students aware of the national occasions in the community. At the end of the visit to the governorate’s schools ;  H.E  commended  the teachers and schools principals continuous contributions to attainment of quality education environment in terms of  using available  human experiences  and physical facilities .
