Concern-driven development of technology at schools, and in order to scaffold talented students’ learning interest in techno field, the Directorate General of Education in Northern Batinah Governorate signed an agreement to build a robotic sciences laboratory with Jusoor Institution.
His Excellency Sheikh Mohana Bin Saif Al Lamki, Northern Batinah governor presided over the event at Al Bahjah Hall in Sohar, in presence of a number of their excellences the Wallis, members of Al Shura Council, and Municipal Council members. The agreement was signed by Hamed bin Ali al Sarhani, Director General of Education in the Governorate and Shaikh Ali bin Saleh al Hashar, CEO of Jusoor Institution
Jinan Al Baluchi, Data Systems Specialist member of Robotic Sciences Laboratory Team said; ‘The laboratory will serve the whole community through a number of programs propelled to train the students on designing, programming and manufacturing robots. Also, the centre will help in building research teams to represent the country at international level.’
