Curtains fall down on Teaching English; Changes and Challenges Training Course in Al Buraimi
‘Teaching English; Changes and Challenges’ Training Course, implemented in Al Buraimi came to end last week in the Training and Professional Development Centre. The 4-day program is conducted within the local annual training program for senior teachers; 26 teachers from Basic Education Schools attended the course, as well as subject supervisors.
Peter Lucantoni, English Language Teaching Specialist reviewed the challenges facing the students and approaches to support learners and how to encourage the students learning of good English. The teachers carried out practical planning of response action plans to tackle daily problems that face teachers and students.
It is to be noted that, the program is organized based on the feedback of subjects supervisors through school visits, the suggestions of the reports as well as the students’ academic achievements.
