MOE’s Assess the ‘I Pad School project’ in Al Buraimy
Al Khatwah School for Basic Education (1-4) received yesterday an observatory delegation from the Ministry of Education headquarters. The delegation comprised of Dr. Rajab Al Awaisi, head of evaluation and performance assessment, Saeed Al Mahzoori, pedagogical researcher, Basheer Al Zaidi, head of coordination and follow up section.
The delegation arrived to school escorted by Moosa Al Hinai and Hilal Al Sikkati, administration officer. The visit aims to assess the schools experience of using I Pad in classrooms. The school staff presented a model lesson in maths and also delivered a presentation about the project goals, learning progress and home coordination. It also reviewed using online application for assessment and evaluation in collaboration with student’s families.
On the delegation feedback on the visit, Dr Al Awaisi said we pass our gratitude’s to the school for its innovative implementation of technology and we present a sign of respect to the school administration and teaching staff for their sincere efforts to modernize the community. The committee is signalling out this experience suggestions and recommendations to the concerned departments at MOE.
