Recently, The Ministry of Education Educational Supporting Committee initiated its tasks in Al-Wosta Governorate. The committee formulated by the official decision (340/2012); headed by Mr Ahmed BIN Abu Baker Al Zubaidi, advisor to the Minister of Education for Administration affairs arrived in Al Wosta in a five days visit. At arrival, the committee convoked a meeting with schools’ headmasters at Crown Plaza Hotel in Al Duqm to stand on teaching and learning progress at schools, and to discuss issues related to work challenges such as facilities management, schools logistics and services, cross regional transfer of teachers, monsoon rains effects on schools and other aspects of concern. The meeting held in presence of Dr Salim Bin Said Al Mashani ,Superintendent in Al Wosta and his assistants in the regions.
