In continuum of the visiting program of the permanent ambassadors of the United Nations ambassadors (UNISCO), a mass was held in Shangri-La Bur Al-Jissah on the honor of the ambassadors. The event was sponsored by His Excellency Ahmed bin Nassir al-Mahrazi, Minister of Tourism and Her Excellency Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed al-Shibania and attended by a number of undersecretaries and dignitaries in the government.      
The Directorate General of Education in Al-Buraimi held a meeting to discuss the general results of schools performance in Cognitive Knowledge National Examinations 2012/2013. The meeting was held under patronage of Abdullah al-Naaimi head of Human Resources Department in Al-Buraimi Educational Directory and attended by affiliate supervisors and senior teachers at schools.  
The Directorate General of Education in Muscat Governorate held a meeting for Basic Education Schools Headmasters (1-4), to discuss the purposed recommendations and solutions for the students’ heavy weight bags. The conference reviewed some mechanisms being implemented in some schools and the plans for better developing these experiences.      
The Directorate General of Education in Al-Buraimi Governorate, Students Affairs and Educational programs presented a working paper on the art of communication with teenagers. The program concentrates on developing teachers’ skills and competences for Montessori Environment.    
The Ministry of Education held a meeting for Public Relations Officers in ministry’s cabinet. The meeting was attended by supervisors and specialists of Public Relation Offices in the regions. The workshop reviewed the job descriptions of the employees and the missions assigned to them in addition to some working papers.    
The Directorate General for Educational Programs, Special Education Department embarked a training program course on teaching strategies for Cognitive Handicapped People. The course runs for five days at the National Montessori Nursery in Al Qurm.   
The Directorate General of Education in the Interior Governorate held an honoring celebration to   for outstanding students at the Facts for Life Competition Projects in Science, Athletics and Arts. The event was held in Al-Shihaba Hall in Nizwa University. The event was patronized over by Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamed al-Saadi, the Governor of Interior Governorate.    
His Excellency the Undersecretary for Education Planning and Human Resources Saud bin Salim al Balushi visited a number of schools in Southern Batinah Governorate. The visit comes in line with the continuous efforts to develop and follow up education progress at schools. The visit included schools in Wadi al Mawil and Al Awabi and Al Rustaq.  
The Directorate General of Education in Dhofar Governorate held a course for the leaders of Scouts Girls from 18th-25th of November .The course is being held in the Great Hall in the Directory cabinet in presence of Deputy Director General for Education in the region and Adil al-Hadhri Director of Educational programs  
Dr. Humood bin Khalfan al-Harthy, Undersecretary of Ministry of Education for Education and Curricula patronized over the first educational meeting for Private schools owners and directors. The meeting was held in the educational Auditorium in Al-Wattayah.  
An educational delegation from Great Britain visited some schools in Southern Batinah Governorate to look into the “Connected Classroom Project”. The team visited Sheikh Khalf bin Sinan al-Ghafry in al_Rustaq where they saw some classes and reviewed some applied projects in the English Club.    
Under the patronage of the Ministry’s Consultant Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamdan Al-Toubi, The proceedings of Cultural Diversity Forum closed its sessions in Muscat Crown Plaza Hotel on Tuesday. The forum is organized by The Omani National Committee for Education, Culture and Science in conjunction with Ministry of Heritage and Culture and Islamic Association for Education, Science and Culture.  
The communication and Relationship Committee in Scouts Association in the Interior region held its first annual meeting. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Faisal bin Said Al-Rawahi and reviewed a bundle of topics related to affiliated committees of the association and courses to be scheduled to take place starting on  next January .   
The students’ symposium titled “The Future in Youthful Hands” rolled out its activities on Sunday morning in Al_Nahda Spa Resort in Barka. The symposium gathers 200 students from all regions. The symposium aims to open channels of communication and constructive dialogue among young people, and works to enhance their abilities and innovative talents, and create an appropriate environment to express positive freely opinions and constructive ideas. Yesterday morning, the international Training Workshop on Policy-making for Guides and Leaders in Oman started its working sessions in the Sultanate. The workshop is organized by the Directorate General of Scouts and Guides in cooperation with the World Association of Arab Girl Guides during the period from 9 to 13 November.
