The central committee for academic achievement pursuit at MOE held an expanded meeting with school headmasters from Muscat Governorate at Dawhat Al-Adab Theater. The meeting was attended by Ali bin Humaid Al-Jahwari, General Director of Directorate of Education in Muscat. However, the committee explained the studies and indicators showed an improvement in academic results for students of Muscat Governorate through the 1st semester this year.

Ten teachers of Social Studies visit the United Kingdom. The Ministry Of Education, International Educational Programs Directory, carried out the 4th phase of the Visiting Educationist programs to the United Kingdom. The central committee for Assessment and Evaluation for the Hygiene and Cleanness Competition at schools resumed its activities in Al-Buraimi Governorate yesterday. The random draw took the committee to Al-Farooq School (9-10) and Azzan ben Qais (11-12) and Al-Buraimi, where they saw the schools activities and projects in serving the community and cultivating the contest concepts.   

 The Central Committee for Assessment and Evaluation for the Hygiene and Cleanness Competition at schools started its inspection activities at the Interior governorate schools. Dr Mohammed ben Saif Al-Ruwashidi, chief of the committee, and the visited a number of schools in the field and talked to school managers and teachers about schools projects and the competition activities and reviewed developments and means to address challenges.       

Yesterday, the final evaluation rounds to qualifications stage of Holy Quran competition for schools at the level of the Ministry rolled out in Al-Buraimi Governorate. The events held at the training center in the Directorate of Education in Al-Buraimi, attended by a Ministerial committee which comprised Mr. Hamed ben Salem Al-Rajhi , the Deputy manager of the Humanitarian studies  and  science and Islamic curriculum Development Department and  Ahmed bin Nasser Al-Nairi, member of Islamic curriculum.   

Her Excellency Dr. Madiha bent Ahmed Al-Shibaniah concluded her educational visit to United State of America Yesterday. The visit aims to cast a look over the specialized centers of educational evaluation, exams and some career guidance institutions.  The Minister has been accompanied by number of specialists from office of establishment National center for educational Evaluation and Exams, Career Guidance Center and specialists from General Directorate of IT and the General Directorate for Educational  Assessment and Evaluation.  

Central Committee for Hygiene Competition inspect Al-Buraimi A and B schools  The Central Committee for Follow up and Assessment for Hygiene at Schools started inspection visits to Al-Buraimi Governorate schools. The committee chief Dr. Jabir bin Jabir al- Abri, the special advisor for the ministry for Hygiene and Healthy Environment Competition for schools visited group (A) and (B) categories and it's planned that the committee continue its inspection to class (C) schools later.
