His Excellency Mohamed Hamdan Al-Toobi, the Ministry Advisor, presided over the inauguration of Muscat Schools Fine Arts Exhibition "Innovation & Talents" organized by the Directorate General of Education in Muscat. The exhibition runs for 5 days.  

The Central Committee of Hygiene and Cleanness in Schools 2012/2013 arrived in the Directory of Education in Al-Wosta. The committee is headed by Sheikh Jabir Al-Abri, The Ministry advisor visited Hayma Basic Education and Al-Duqm Basic Education.      

Yesterday, The General Directorate of Education in Al-Buraimi held its 1stmeeting for Summer Program Management's team for school students 2013. The meeting was headed by Abdullah bin Salem Al-Badi, Deputy Manager of Educational Programs Department and vice chairman of summer program team in Al-Buraimi Governorate.  

Yesterday, under the patronage of His Excellency Sayyid Humood ben Faisal Al-Busaidi, Minister of Interior Affairs, The ministry of Education held its annual ceremony of Teachers Day 2012/13. The ceremony honored 215 educationists from different schools and administrations. The event was attended by prominent chief gusts and senior governorate officials and leading media.   

The Ministerial Committee for Hygiene competition at schools; a recently formed committee geared to investigate Hygiene and Environment at Schools Competition ended its visit to Al-Buraimi The committee formed aims to investigate reality and prospects of the competition. The committee collected information directly from the field at schools from students and teachers in its avid efforts to prepare for Hygiene Competition Development Symposium in near future.  

Under the auspices of His Excellency Sheikh Fahad ben Sultan al Yaqoubi, Wali of Al-Sinainah, the Directorate General of Education in Al-Buraimi Governorate held an Open day for the Schools military education patch 2012/2013. The day started by a recitation of some verses of the Holy Quran, followed by students word by Hilal Awadh Al-Mukhaini and then a demonstration of students skills and abilities in weapons and arms and first aid operations.  

   

The executive committee for Business leadership held its 7th regulatory meeting in MOE cabinet. The meeting was presided over by Dr. Bader ben Humood Al-Kharoosi, Deputy Director of The National Centre for Vocational Guidance. The meeting minutes included the review of the ongoing preparations for Business Leadership Symposium and other programs aimed at HR training programs.    

Yesterday, The Special Needs Education Department in Al-Buraimi received a countering committee from Musandam governorates to exchange experiences and achievement in the field of special needs education. The two sides held a preliminary meeting and then moved to field visits to Hamasa and Saraa schools to attend lessons for Special Needs Pupils (Integration Program)    

 The Students Discipline and Regulation board in Al-Buraimi Governorate held its 5th annual regulatory meeting at the training centre yesterday. The meeting was presided over by Moza bent Khamis Al-Badiaa, Chairwoman of Educational Programs Department. During the meeting the members deliberated over forwarded cases by schools headmasters of students' affairs at schools; whereby the committee discussed its specifications and made decisions about them according to student affairs regulations 105/2012.    

Yesterday, Ali bin Jaber Al-Dahli, Assistance Manager for special education and continuing education in General Directorate of educational programs in MOE, met the Kuwaiti Educational Delegation from Kuwait National Commission for UNESCO at the end of its visit to Al-Amal school. The visit comes within the program which provides 25 grants for students with hearing, visual and mental disability from different governorates. Yesterday, His Excellency Saood ben Salim Al-Balushi, MOE Undersecretary for Education &Planning and Development Human Resources presided over the inauguration of the 2nd IT forum in the Ministry Auditorium in Al-Wattayya. The Directorate General of Education, The Humanitarian Science Department organized a forum for English Language under the auspices of Hamed Al Qasabi ,the Chief director of the Industrial area in Nizwa .The three days forum took place at the Training Centre in Nizwa and attended by region's Superintendent Said ben Saif Al-Amri and teachers and officials from educational institutions in the interior governorate. This morning, under the auspices of Mr. Mahdi Abdwani the chairman of the National Ferries Company (NFC); the Department of Co-curricular Activities and Students Awareness is concluding its school's football tournament at Sultan Qaboos Sport complex. The finally will gather northern Batinah schools against Southern Batinah schools. The tournament is for students born in 1997/98.
