  Her Excellency Dr.Madiha al-Shibaniah, Minister of Education, presides over the second annual ceremony of MOE cabinet employee's honoring event today, (Thursday)at Al-Bustan Palace Hotel ; where 336 employee from ministry cabinet and its affiliated administrations across the country is to receive accolades in addition to Mothers and Fathers Bureau at schools for their effective role in manifesting education quality .    

  The Scouts Training Camp on Wooden Badge Pins for scout leaders pulled its curtains down yesterday in al_Malada in Mussnah. The camp involved 40 of wooden badgers under training from different leadership units across the country. The camp was implemented by The National organization for scouts and Guides at Sultan Qaboos Scouts camp from 21st-29th May.   

  The Directorate General of Education in the Governorate of Dhofar yesterday celebrated the 'Teacher's Day' for the school year 2012/13 under the auspices of His Excellency Abdul-Aziz Mohamed Al-Rawas, His majesty's Advisor for Cultural Affairs. The Directorate General of Education in Northern Batinah governorate held an honoring ceremony for teachers .The event was held at Al Wahha Al-Khadra Hotel in Sohar ,under the patronage of His Excellency Saud bin Salim Al-Baloshi ,MOE Undersecretary for Education Planning &Human resources who gave out accolades to more than 374 teachers and pedagogy workers all over the region.  

The Education Directory in AI- Wosta held a fine Arts exhibition for the academic year 2013 in  Al-Duqm Basic Education School. The event was held under the auspices of his Excellency Dr. Humood bin Ali Al- Marshoodi, Wally of Mahout  and attended by Senior employees  in the region and dignitaries in addition to students parents   

The Central Training Centre of MOE in Al Khuwair rolled out a training workshop on administration development skills from 26-30 May 2013. The program organized by Continuous Learning Department aimed at prop up head sections skills and capabilities on planning according to latest management developments and organize work processing protocols  and enhancing  relationships management protocols.  

Under the patronage of Sheikh Ali bin Nassir Al-Mahroqi, Secretary General of Majlis Al-Shawra, a number of students of Holy Quran learners received accolades in the Interior Governorate yesterday. The honoring ceremony was held at Al. Shahbaa Hall in Nizwa University .The honoring also included Students who topped in science Competitions, sports in addition to toppers in innovative projects and inventions in different school subjects.  

The ministry of education held an honoring ceremony for Learners of The Holy Quran for the academic year 2012/13 at Al Bustan Palace Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Her Excellency The minister of education, patron of the event gave accolades to the winners of the, five levels, competition.    

The National Workshop on Education Systems Analysis continued its sessions for the 3rd consecutive day, the workshop aimed at analyzing the education system in the country and to assess the current deployed system and identify the main challenges which hinders quality in teaching and learning, planning and problem solutions and to hold comparative research studies.    

His Excellency Mustafa bin Ali, the undersecretary of Administration and Financial Affairs in MOE patronized over the honoring ceremony of outstanding achievers students of Private Schools 2012/2013, yesterday, in Al -Shuwaifat International Schools in presence of number of dignitaries and high profile personals in ministry of education.  

The directorate General of Education in the Interior Governorate honored 300 teachers on Teachers Day .The ceremony was held at the Technical Colleague in Nizwa under the aegis of His Excellency Mustafa bin Ali, the Undersecretary of Ministry of Education for administration and financial affairs in presence of number of dignitaries and high profile personals in the governorate of the Interior.   

Yesterday, the central committee of Summer Schools Program 2013 visited the directorate general of education in Southern Batinah where it held a meeting with its counterpart in the governorate. The region planned to have 5 centers for girls and 5 for boys .The head of the committee reviewed the organization aspects and timing and activities classes and other details in the Summer School program Action Plan.  

His Excellency Nasser bin Hamoud bin Ahmed al Kindi as the Secretary General of Royal Court Affairs presided over the Teachers Honoring events in Muscat Governorate yesterday. The event was held at the Ministry of Education Auditorium in Al-Wattayya.  

Al-Rustaq, The Directorate General of Education in Southern Batinah held an honoring ceremony for Hafiz Pupils of Holy Quran who learnt The Holy Quran by heart .The ceremony was presided over by his Excellency Sheikh Majid bin Khalifa Al-Harthi, Walli of Barka .The event was attended by a number of high profile dignitaries and schools faculties and the parents.    

  Sunday, His Excellency Abdullah Al-Sarmi, Undersecretary of Tertiary Education presided over the inauguration ceremony of National Workshop on Education Analysis Systems. The workshop organized by ministry of education in conjunction with Oman National Commission for Education, Culture and Science. The workshops run for five consecutive days at Safeer Hall in Muscat.
