Last Thursday, His Excellency Saud bin Salim Al Balushi, the Undersecretary of MOE for Educational Planning and Human resources Development, patronized over the closing ceremony of the training program for new supervisors for the academic year 2013/2014 at Intercontinental Hotel in Al- Qurm. The event was organized by the Ministry on Education represented by the Directorate-General for Human Resources Development in the period from 25/8 to 05/09/2013. English language Teachers Training seminar held in Oman Hall in the Training Centre in al Buraymi pulled its curtains down recently. The week long seminar aimed at refreshing the senior teacher’s professional skills and techniques in the subject. The seminar instructor was the well-known English language teaching expert Mr. Peter Lucantoni who concentrated on preparing the trainees on workshop instructor’s skills, developing presentation skills, developing higher intellectual thinking skills and techniques to run the classes efficiently.
