The first edition of Oman Educational Portal “Oman Educational Portal, Educational Vision and Reality” was issued in 2011. It contains a sequence of information about the educational portal project stages from the beginning of 1995 until this period.  A series of chapters recorded the most important strategies used to implement the steps. 

His Excellency Mr. Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat, opened yesterday morning first discussion seminar of citizenship and volunteer work at  Ministry of Education theater , Imam Jabir bin Zaid School at Governorate of Muscat.

Director General of Dhofar Directorate Said bin Salim Al Harthy met in the past two days, public and private school principals in preparation for grade 5 to grade 11 examinations.

HE Dr. Madiha bent Ahmed Al Shibaniah, Minister of Education issued on Wednesday December 21st 2011  ministerial decree number (432/2011) about daily school schedule in public schools of one period.

In the celebration of International Day for People with Disabilities, North Batinah Directorate represented by Department of Special Education organized a special day on this occasion.

Recently, Educational Programs Department at the Directorate General of Education in Dhofar represented by Department of Special Education hosted committee of special education program in speech and communication disorders, which comes as a part of supervisory plans for the program by the Ministry of Education (Department of Special Education).
