The ninth school sports competitions contest celebration was concluded on Thursday at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bowsher. The Ministry of Education celebrated the end of the activities this year after six days of competition between the governorates.
Today... The Annual Winter Scout Camp in Al Maldah

250 scouts and leaders from 11 governorates arrived yesterday morning to participate in the annual winter scout camp at Sultan Qaboos Camp in Al Maladah under the slogan (Scouts Renewable Prospects). It will be held during the period from the eighth to the fourteenth of February.
In the context of the emerging partnership with the Oman Astronomical Society, the educational portal participates as an electronic sponsor of the astronomical exhibition associated with the 10th Arab Conference on Astronomy and Space Sciences.
Activities of the training program started yesterday morning (Monday). It was organized by the Office of hygiene and health in school environment in collaboration with the Directorate General of Human Resources Development. The program was held at the main training center in the ministry for three days.
Ninth school sports competitions were launched yesterday at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bowsher with the participation of 276 students representing a number of teams from governorates.

North Batinah Directorate Celebrated the end of the training program for 800 new teachers. The training lasted for a period of four-months. They received different knowledge and they developed their educational and academic skills.

In collaboration with Qalhat LNG, Ministry of Education, represented by Undersecretary of Management and Finance Office and School Performance Development Division, organized recently a training course entitled (preventive driving) in the Traffic Safety Institute.
Under the auspices of HE Saud bin Salim Al Balochi, Undersecretary of Ministry of Education for Educational Planning and Human Resource Development, there was yesterday morning (Sunday) the closing ceremony of the training program for new teachers for the academic year (2011/2012).
