The second phase of crafts and traditional industries project has started in Omar ben Al Khatab institute for blinds. 22 students with disabilities in the second cycle of basic education, post basic and adult education participated in the second phase of the project.

Directorate General of Education at Musandam governorate organized a training program about human relations between teachers and supervisors at training centre targeted supervisors at Musandam Directorate.
Educational portal participates in the fourth technical forum exhibition at Sultan Qaboos University. The forum was opened yesterday (Sunday) 4/3/2012 under the auspices of the executive manager of Information Technology Authority, Dr.Salim Al Rizaiqi and in presence of dean of student affairs Dr.Bader Al Alawi.
Ministry of Education represented by Oman Educational Portal won Middle East Corporate and Media Communication Excellence Award which was organized by Middle East Excellence Award Institution (Datamatix). The conference and award ceremony was held at Burj Al Arab in Dubai.

Under the auspices of Abdullah ben Salim Al Mukhani, member of Alshraa council, Sur representative, on Wednesday morning South Sharqiya directorate represented by human resource department celebrated honoring excellent teachers in social studies 2011/2012 at Oman Commerce and Industry Hall in Sur.
It was concluded yesterday (Tuesday) in Al Nahdha Resort in Barka, the activities of fifth communicative meeting of link classrooms project between the Sultanate and United Kingdom. It was implemented by Ministry of Education presented by the international program office and in cooperation with British council in Muscat.
