The training program in multimedia software and electronic content building strated yesterday morning which is presented by Ministry of Education represented by Directorate general of Information Technology, educational technology division at the main training centre in Al Khuwair.

Social committee members in North Batinah discussed their tasks and their programs for the current year. The meeting began with a speech by Yusuf Al Shafiee, deputy director of educational programs division and the head of the committee. He welcomed the members and explained the objectives of the committee and how to apply them.

The committee is chaired by Yusof ben Ali Al Husni, Ministry of Education adviser and accompanied by Mosa ben Ali Al Hinae, director general of education in Buraimi governorates.

Second forum of databases specialist was opened at the stage of Ministry of Education in Watayya. It was organized by Educational Portal Section in Information Technology Division in  the directorate general of education in Muscat governorate. The forum was opened under the auspices of Laila bent Ahmed Al Najar, director of educational programs in the ministry.

Her Excellency Dr.Madiha bent Ahmed Al Shibaniya, Minister of Education received yesterday morning (Tuesday) in her office in the ministry the director of International Institute of Statistics in UNESCO.

The fifth annual forum of media coordinators activities at Dhofar governorates schools was ended on Mondays evening. It lasted for three days. The forum was under the slogan the role of digital media to protect and promote children’s culture.

The fifth annual forum of media coordinators continues for the second day continually in the main hall in the general directorate of education in governorate of Dhofar. The second day included a number of papers. The first one was titled educational versions presented by Tahra Al Lawatiah head of educational media. She talked about the important of educational versions for media coordinators.

Skills and methods of conferences management training workshop was organized by Omani National Committee for Education, Culture and Science at the main training centre in Rehabilitation and Training Department and it lasted for three days.  The workshop was presented by Dr. Said ben Saleem Al Kitani an educational adviser in Al Takween Institute for Educational Services and Development.

South Batinah Directorate team was able to snatch the football quintets title which was organized by Ministry of Education represented by General Directorate of Educational Programs, Students activities and awareness division and in support of the National company of ferries.

The main committee for hygiene and heath in school environment competition continues their evaluation visits to Al Dhakhilya governorate schools to follow up the activation of its content and activities. The committee was chaired by Sheikh Jaber ben Mosa Al Abri adviser at the Ministry of Education for the competition affairs.

Follow up academic achievements central committee in the Ministry of Education started their visits to the governorates to meet with employees in the educational field. The committee is chaired by His Excellency Saud ben Salim Al Balushi undersecretary of the Ministry for educational planning and human resource development.
