Buraimi directorate celebrated yesterday morning graduating students of military education for the year 2011/2012 in Oman Coast Battalion. The celebration was held under the auspices of His Excellency Shaikh Khalef ben Salim Al Ishaqi, Wali of Buraimi and in presence of Abdullah ben Ahmed Al Dhahri, deputy director of Buraimi directorate and the commander of Oman Coast Battalion.

North Batinah Directorate celebrated honoring private schools students in the final celebration which was held under the auspices of Fatimah bent Abd Al Abas Noran, director general of private schools and in presence of Hamad ben Ali Al Sarhani, director general of North Batinah directorate.

Al Dakhiliya Directorate honored 300 teachers who are excellent in the field of Education. The honoring was during the celebrations of the teachers day which was held at College of Applied Science in Nizwa under the auspices of His Excellency Ahmed ben Nasser Al Muhrizi , Miniter of Tourism.

Oman Education Portal has been announced winner in Pan Arab Web Awards, (PAWA-2011) as the Best Interactive Facebook Application on the social networks (MOE, on Facebook). The award was collected in a ceremony held at Al-Bustan Rotana in Dubai on 29th of April, 2012. 

The sultanate has achieved the first place globally in the Entrepreneurship Week among 123 participated countries. The Sultanate’s participation was marked as the largest number of activities held during the Entrepreneurship week in 2011 compared to other countries.

Special education section in educational programs division in Muscat Directorate organized an awareness and recreation camp under the slogan “Integration is Everyone’s Resposiblity”. The camp was in Al Sahwa Parks in Al Seep.

Buraimi Directorate celebrated yesterday morning at the directorate theatre the end of Arab Deaf week thirty seven events under the auspices of Sheikh Ali ben Mohammmed Al Tamimi Buraimi Wali assistant and in presence of Abdullah ben Ahmed Al Dhahri, deputy director of Al Buraimi Directorate.

North Batinah Directorate celebrated yesterday (Tuesday) the opening of the students’ exhibition of “My Project to Build My Country”. The opening celebration was under the auspices of His Excellency Dr. Rashid ben Salim Al Masrori head of general authority of stores and food reserve in the sultanate. The celebration was at Safeer Mall in Sohar.

Within the events of Deaf Arab Child week thirty seven, Buraimi college organized an educational seminar under the auspices of Dr.Awdat Al Majali acting dean of Al Buraimi college and in presence of Abdullah ben Ahmed Al Dhahri, deputy director of Al Buraimi directorate.

Directorate generate of education in North Batinah organizes yesterday a musical concert in the frame work of the visit of school musical teams evaluation committee in the ministry of education. The celebration was held in Sohar under the auspices of Dr.Hilal ben Ali Al Hathrami, dean of Marine International College. 

Under the auspices of His Excellency Dr.Humood ben Khalfan ben Mohammed Al Harthi, undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Al-Ibdaa International School organized yesterday (The First Conference for School Academic Adoption) in cooperation with Ministry of Education represented by directorate general of private schools and in cooperation of AdvancED Global Institution in the United States of America.

Under the auspices of His Excellency Saud ben Salim Al Balushi undersecretary in the Ministry of Education for educational planning and human resource development and in presence of Khalil Mahshi, director of the International Institution for educational planning, opening the forty seventh advanced training program in Educational planning and administration for the year 2011/2012.

Honoring ceremony for excellent students in memorizing the Holy Quran was held in Al Buraimi Directorate. it was organized by Memorzing the Holy Quran Society in Al Khawarizmi Basic Eduation Schools (5-10). The ceremony was under the auspices of Mr.Yusuf ben Abdullrahman ben karem Al Farsi.  19 students were honored in this ceremony.

Oman Educational Portal has achieved a new award in the Middle East Internet Award which was organized by Terrapinn Institution in United Arab Emirates. This achievement is a new addition to the series of successive achievements since the Educational Portal was launched in 2007.

His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed ben Hamdan Al Tobi, Ministry of Education adviser concluded his visit to a number of Al Dakhilya governorate schools to see and discuss the progress of work in the field of education.
