His Excellency Mr.Ibrahim ben Said ben Ibrahim Al Busaidi, Governor of Buraimi visited Amna bent Al Imam bent Jaber ben Zaid to see the progress of the summer program activities and to present a workshop in the field of photography.

In the framework of the implementation of the summer program for school students, a group of students from Al Hawra Center in Ninzwa made an educational visit to Sanaad child care centers. The students met Laila Al Busaidi, coordinator in the child care center. She took them in a quick tour around sections of the center. 

In the governorate of Muscat the activities of the summer program continue for the third consecutive week in 14 centers in the different (Wilayat) in the governorate. In Al Sheikh Abu Obaida center in Qarayaat, a variety of activities were done and there were new ideas and great goals in the program “We Read to be” and wood painting program and some technical programs like Photoshop.

The last week of the three weeks summer program for school students “My summer is production and proficiency) 2012 has started yesterday morning (Saturday). The activities and different programs continue in the summer program centers in Al Buraimi governorate directorate.

At the end of the second day of summer program events and activities for school students in the Directorate General of Education of Buraimi, an open sports day was organized in cooperation with Yazeed ben Al Muhalab Center in Al Nahdha club in Mohadha.

Directorate General of Education in Dhofar concluded Technical Exchange Course between Education, E-content and Technical Support which lasted for two weeks. It was organized by Information Technology Division. The program included members from other departments such as Evaluation and Administration and Financial Affairs Department and Relation and Educational Media Department.

Activities of summer program for students continue for the second consecutive week. there are good activities and good participation at Al Hawra Center which implemented a series of workshops that attracted the students. One of the activities that attracted students are Henna workshop. They learned how to do good formations using Henna.

Her Excellency Dr.Madiha bent Ahmed Al Shibaniyah; Minister of Education announces the result of scout’s superiority competition for the cup of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos ben Said for the current year 2011/2012.

Summer program activities for school students 2012 continues in Buraimi directorate. The most prominent activities which were held yesterday were a training workshop “Reading is Fun” and also displaying the most important inventions and scientific achievements of the Omani inventor Hilal Al Siyabi.

A team from documents division applying private document management system in the electronic correspondence in the Ministry of Education visited directorate general of education in North Batinah. The team included Khalid ben Saeed Al Jabri, Yahya Al Yahmadi, Mohammed Ali Al Rawahi.

The local committee of summer program for school students in North Sharqiya governorate held yesterday morning its preparation meeting to celebrate launching the program for the current year 2011/2012. The summer program comes this year under the slogan “My Summer … production and proficiency”. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Ali ben Nasser Al Harasi, director general of Education in North Sharqiya governorate.

 In the context of awareness activities which are implemented by Students Guidance Center in Al Dakhiliya governorate, the center represented by the local committee of school health organized an awareness lecture titled “The Negative Effects of Not Treating Speech Disorders in Children”.

 Omani French Centre celebrated on Sunday evening the end of the academic year 2011/2012 under the auspices of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed ben Hamdan Al Tobi, Adviser of the Ministry of Education

His Excellency Mr. Mohammed ben Sultan Al Busaidi, Governor of Dhofar and the general supervisor of the festival inaugurated Omani Children Forum Exhibition under the slogan “ Oman … Safe Childhood … and Promising Future”. The exhibition will last till the 5th of July. It is organized within the activities of Salalah Tourism Festival 2012 in cooperation with Ministry of Education represented by Dhofar Directorate.

The training course of Montessori way for English teachers was concluded on Sunday morning. It was organized by Ministry of Education represented by the directorate general of educational programs, special education division. 15 English teachers from Al Amel School for deaf and Omar ben Al Khatab Institution for blind participated in this course which lasted for 5 days at the National Custody in Al Qurm.
