HE Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al-Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, received a delegation from the Oxford Diplomatic Society, comprising a number of students and graduates from Oxford University specializing in diplomacy, international cooperation, and Middle Eastern studies, in the presence of several ministry specialists.
At the beginning of the meeting, HE welcomed the delegation, praising the Society's efforts in all matters related to the development of education. During the meeting, HE emphasized the importance of international partnerships in supporting the Ministry's efforts to develop the education system, noting the role the Society can play in enhancing quality programs and building capacity.
During the meeting, the education system in the Sultanate of Oman, the Ministry's priorities, and its future plans were presented. Potential areas of cooperation between the two sides in the educational and training fields were also discussed, including the implementation of joint initiatives to empower youth and develop students' diplomatic and leadership skills. The delegation commended the Sultanate of Oman's developmental achievements across all sectors and welcomed opportunities for cooperation between the Ministry and the Society in all matters concerning the teaching staff and students, in order to achieve the desired goals and objectives.
