The Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate-General of Educational Supervision, conducted the educational meeting for assistants of educational supervision departments and heads of educational indicators sections, at Maani Hotel Muscat.

The meeting aims to raise the efficiency of employees in technical and administrative supervision, from assistant directors of supervision departments and heads of indicators sections, by learning about educational developments and modern trends in supervision practices, enhancing skills in analyzing educational data and indicators and employing them in improving performance and decision-making, developing digital capabilities through the use of artificial intelligence tools and educational technologies that support supervisory work, unifying understanding and professional procedures among assistant supervisors, heads of departments and assistant directors to ensure the quality of supervisory practices, and exchanging expertise and field experiences in a way that contributes to improving supervisory and school performance.

The meeting included discussions on several specialized educational working papers. Saif Al-Julandani, Director-General of the Directorate-General of Educational Supervision, presented a paper on school-based supervision, followed by a paper titled "Updates to Supervisory Teams" presented by Dr. Khadija Al-Balushi. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Amri presented a paper on the computerization of self-assessment tools and educational supervision. Dr. Ahmed Al-Hadhrami presented a paper titled "Aligning the Ijada System with Updated Supervisory Forms," ​​and Darwish Al-Kiyumi presented a paper on the vision for the educational supervision policy (2026/2030). The sessions concluded with a working paper presented by Abdullah Al-Marzouqi on the Ministry's digital projects, in addition to a paper by Yasser Al-Summari on the roles of assistant directors and department heads in implementing the supervisory job nomination guide.
