HE Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, received Mr. Ali Al Janabi, CEO of Shell Companies, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of a number of ministry officials.

At the beginning of the meeting, HE the Minister welcomed the CEO, wishing him success in his duties, and stressing the importance of the partnership between the Ministry and private sector institutions in supporting education programs and promoting initiatives that contribute to empowering students and developing their future skills.

For his part, Mr. Ali Al Janabi expressed his enthusiasm at assuming his new position in the Sultanate, praising the efforts of the Ministry of Education in developing the educational system, and stressing Shell Oman’s keenness to strengthen existing cooperation and support sustainable educational initiatives that serve the community.

The meeting addressed a number of joint projects and programs in the fields of innovation and interactive education, in addition to exploring ways to enhance training opportunities for students in the fields of energy and technology.

At the conclusion of the meeting, HE the Minister expressed her appreciation for Shell Oman’s efforts in supporting national initiatives, stressing the continuation of cooperation in a way that serves the aspirations of the education sector in the Sultanate.
