Scouts of the Sultanate of Oman participate in the 31st Scout Conference in Abu Dhabi

The 31st Scout Conference, held in the United Arab Emirates, has commenced with the participation of official delegations from Arab Scout Associations and a number of regional and international organizations.

On its first day, the conference discussed the Arab Scout Harvest Report for the years 2022–2025, reviewed the recommendations of the Arab Youth Forum, and voted on a number of administrative and financial reports and constitutional amendments, before completing the specialized workshops.

The second day witnessed the announcement of the formation of the new Arab Scout Committee, along with the adoption of the three-year plan 2026–2028, and the organization of an extensive dialogue session on “Partnerships and Resource Development”, in addition to the offers made to host the upcoming Arab Scout events.

The third day of the conference is dedicated to what is known as “Arab Day”, which includes visits to a number of cultural and tourist landmarks in Abu Dhabi, including the Louvre Museum and Qasr Al Watan, before resuming the sessions related to the conference theme.

The fourth day witnesses a discussion of the Arab Scouting strategy, support for member scouting associations, a review of global scouting strategies, in addition to voting on a package of final resolutions.

The conference, in its current session, aims to adopt the general policy of the Arab Scout Movement for the upcoming period, elect members of the Arab Scout Committee for the new term, in addition to discussing and approving administrative and financial reports, and determining the value of annual subscriptions for scout organizations.
