Omani Touch to Mark the Omani Women Day

The Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate-General of Educational Supervision, organized an event titled "An Omani Touch to Celebrate Omani Women's Day." The event targeted female employees of the Directorate-General of Educational Supervision, as well as Omani female supervisors and teachers of fine arts in the educational governorates. The event was held in the Ministry's lobby in the Ministry’s General Diwan.

The event included an exhibition of fine arts for female fine arts supervisors and teachers from the educational governorates. The exhibition featured forty-one artworks in various artistic fields, such as drawing, photography, printing, handicrafts, and others. The aim was to enhance artistic creativity and innovation among fine arts supervisors and teachers, celebrate the role of Omani women in the field of fine arts, and exchange artistic experiences and skills between supervisors and teachers. The exhibition also included a training session in fine arts, presented by Fatima Al-Bandari, Fine Arts Supervisor at then Directorate-General of Education in Muscat Governorate. The session included training on the art of decoupage, its application mechanism, steps for implementation, and its advantages.

The event aims to engage the educational community in celebrating Omani Women's Day, emphasizing their role in spreading the culture of fine arts among various elements of the educational process and different segments of society, highlighting their artistic and skillful aspects in the field of fine arts, instilling the concept of Omani identity, community partnership, and pride in heritage and national values ​​among members of society, and exchanging knowledge, skills, and specialized experiences in various fields of fine arts.
