The Gulf Forum for Financial Innovation for Public School Students (grades 10-12) is organized by the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States (ABEGS) in cooperation with the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Khazna Project for Instilling Financial Cultural Principles in School Students. The forum is held under the slogan: Financial Innovation: An Investment in the Future, and includes a number of sessions, training workshops, student competitions, and tourist trips.

The forum targets a number of educators and creative students in the field of financial innovation from the GCC countries, along with technical and financial expertise, to exchange ideas and transfer specialized knowledge.

The Gulf Forum for Financial Innovation for Public School Students is based on a set of key pillars, most notably the national development visions of the GCC countries, which emphasize the development of human capital, the empowerment of talent, and the development of the knowledge economy. The forum also emphasizes global trends toward promoting financial culture and technological innovation in public education, highlighting the role of financial innovation in supporting societal stability and economic development. It also emphasizes the importance of empowering students with financial management and entrepreneurship tools and enhancing their financial awareness to confront accelerating economic challenges.

The forum includes dialogue sessions, workshops, and student competitions, aiming to build educational environments that foster financial innovation and contribute to the development of a financially conscious generation capable of contributing to national development plans.

The first day of the forum featured a dialogue session on the reality of financial innovation in public education environments in the Office's member states: the desired reality and challenges, a workshop on "How do I create a financially innovative project idea?", and the announcement of the Entrepreneurship and Financial Innovation Challenge Competition, along with a presentation of its regulatory framework. The first day concluded with an enrichment lecture entitled "Artificial Intelligence and Financial Innovation."

The Gulf Forum for Financial Innovation for Public School Students aims to promote financial literacy in educational settings, empower students to acquire financial skills and knowledge that will help them make sound decisions in their economic lives, study strategies for identifying and nurturing talented students in the field of financial innovation, and transfer and exchange successful Gulf experiences in teaching financial literacy and financial innovation products. It also aims to encourage partnerships between educational and financial institutions to support financial innovation programs and develop teachers and educators working in this field, thus contributing to the establishment of an innovative financial culture that contributes to the development of the knowledge economy and the achievement of national development goals.
