Education Awareness Session on Disseminating the Culture of Public Employees and the Law

The Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate-General of Private Schools, held an awareness session to spread the culture of "Public Employees and the Law." The session was attended by Dr. Khadija Al Salamiyah, Director-General of the Directorate-General of Private Schools, department directors and their assistants, department heads, and employees. The session was held in the Muscat Hall at the Ministry's General diwan.

The session was presented by Dr. Ahmed Bani Araba, lawyer, legal advisor, and executive director of the Ahmed Bani Araba Law Firm and Legal Consultations. The session covered several topics, including definitions and provisions for holding public office, relevant legislation, the rights and duties of public employees, the powers of the administrative body in the public office, its crimes, and emerging provisions related to it.

The session aims to familiarize employees with the legal system in the country, provide them with the minimum legally prescribed job provisions, enhance their legal awareness, familiarize them with emerging provisions in the public service, understand the importance of public service and the consequences of holding it, develop performance skills, integrate into the work environment, improve institutional work, enhance performance indicators, and work as a single team in a way that achieves the Ministry's objectives (work environment).
