The Minister of Education visits a Number of Schools in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate

HE Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, conducted a field visit to a number of schools in the governorates of Al Dakhiliyah. This visit comes as part of her commitment to monitoring educational projects and reviewing development initiatives and educational programs that contribute to enhancing the quality of education. HE the Minister, visited a number of classrooms at Adam Primary School (5-10) and met with students to enhance direct communication with them and listen to their opinions and suggestions, which would contribute to developing the educational process.

HE also visited the Seih Al Barakat Basic Education School (1-3) in the Wilayat of Manah, where she was briefed on the interactive screens project and the mobile computer carts project, and their role in supporting modern teaching methods and enhancing student interaction within classrooms, in line with the requirements of digital education.

HE also visited Al Shathaa Bint Jaber Basic Education School (9-12) in Nizwa to learn about the Chinese language teaching experience and to observe the Ministry’s efforts to promote language diversity and develop students’ skills to communicate with global cultures, reflecting the Sultanate’s orientations towards openness to different civilizations.

HE the Minister and the Chairwoman of the Omani National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, concluded her visit with a tour of the historic Bani Shaiban neighborhood in the Wilayat of Adam, where she was introduced to the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Sultanate of Oman. She emphasized the importance of preserving national identity and connecting generations to the authentic past.

This visit aims to monitor the progress of the educational process, ensure school readiness, identify the needs of students and teachers, and listen to their feedback. It also aims to monitor the implementation of modern educational programs and curricula and enhance direct communication between educational leadership and the educational field.
