Global studies have proven that investing in early childhood is the greatest national investment and the strongest tributary for the development of societies, as its impact is reflected in strengthening national identity, developing cognitive abilities, and establishing a creative generation capable of facing the challenges of the era. Because the quality of education can only be achieved through the quality of those in charge of it, the Ministry believes that preparing and developing supervisory cadres is the basis for success as the educational supervisor is a partner in shaping the educational field, a guide to the educational process, and an incentive to raise the level of performance. Hence, this introductory meeting came to confirm the Ministry's keenness to provide an integrated professional environment for early education supervisors, and to empower them with the necessary tools to perform their lofty mission.

Najma Al-Jabri, Assistant Director of the Early Childhood Education Department, then presented the first working paper, entitled "Early Childhood Education in the Sultanate of Oman." The paper addressed the philosophy of early childhood education, the most prominent foundations upon which it is based, its importance in building a child's character and honing their skills from the early stages, and the Ministry's efforts to promote this field and develop its programs in line with national trends. It also highlighted the vital role of early childhood education in establishing a conscious and qualified generation capable of continuing their educational journey effectively and efficiently.

The third paper was titled: “Educational Programs and Curricula Applied in Early Childhood Education” and was delivered by Thuraiya Al Maamari, Head of Early Childhood Education Programs and Curricula Section.
