The Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate-General of Information Technology is organizing a training program on advanced technical solutions in the world of networks using TP-Link devices, in cooperation with Nesma Communications and TP-Link International. The program targets network engineers from various education directorates across the governorates.
This program is part of the Ministry's efforts to adopt the latest technological solutions in the infrastructure of educational institutions, enhancing performance efficiency and keeping pace with technological developments in the fields of digital education and cybersecurity in the Sultanate of Oman's schools.
Eng. Ali Al-Majini, Network Engineer at the Ministry of Education, said: “The organization of this training program comes within the framework of the Ministry’s commitment to keeping pace with the latest global technologies in the field of digital infrastructure, especially with regard to software-defined networks and smart surveillance systems. Through this program, we seek to enable network engineers and technical cadres to acquire advanced practical skills that contribute to raising the efficiency of network performance in educational institutions and enhancing information security and technical readiness in schools. The activation of wireless devices and surveillance cameras represents an important step towards sustainable digital transformation in the education sector.”

The program aims to enhance participants' knowledge and practical skills in the field of wireless networks and smart monitoring systems. It also equips trainees with scientific skills through applied laboratories that simulate real-life scenarios in the field of digital infrastructure. It also supports the Ministry's drive towards digital transformation and the development of technical infrastructure for schools.
