Omani Students Participate in the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation International Children Festival

The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Education, participated in the 47th International Turkish Radio and Television Festival for Children, celebrating Children's Day, hosted by the Turkish capital, Ankara, from April 18 to 24.

A large number of children from different countries around the world participated in this festival, presenting artistic performances that embodied traditional arts, national songs, and the cultural heritage of their countries. The Sultanate of Oman participated, represented by a number of school students from the Directorate General of Education in the Governorates of Al Sharqiyah South and Al Dakhiliyah, with presenting two performances of traditional Omani arts: (Al Azi Art), which is one of the traditional Omani arts associated with pride, praise, and courage, and (Al Hambura Art), which is one of the authentic marine arts, reflecting the history of the Omani people and their relationship with the sea. The two Omani performances received wide interaction and admiration from the audience present.

It is worth noting that the Sultanate of Oman's participation in this festival affirms its commitment to representing its rich cultural heritage in various international forums, enhancing cultural communication with the peoples of the world, and highlighting authentic Omani values ​​based on peace, cooperation, and love.
