05/05/2025

The Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate-General of Special Education and Continuous Learning, inaugurated the Sensory Integration Hall at Al Amal School for the Deaf, with support from the Oman Society for Petroleum Services (OPAL) and Mitsui E&P Middle East (MEPME).

The establishment of this hall comes as part of the Ministry's efforts to develop an educational infrastructure that supports students with disabilities by enhancing their capabilities and meeting their needs within an integrated educational environment that keeps pace with international best practices. Sensory integration halls are important educational facilities that contribute to the development of students' sensory, motor, and cognitive skills, helping them organize their sensory inputs and interact better with their surroundings. This contributes to improving the quality of their learning and enhancing their integration within the school environment.
