The Ministry of Education, represented by the Gifted Diagnosis and Care Department, participated in the Future Science Challenge Competition, organized by the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences under the slogan “Stimulating Positive Change in Society” through the use of modern technologies to find solutions to societal challenges in the fields of health care, education, improving the standard of living and employing artificial intelligence in these fields. More than 130 gifted students from all governorates of the Sultanate participated in the competition.

The participating teams competed in two stages: the first stage was to present their projects via the electronic platform designated for the competition, and they were subject to an initial evaluation by the jury, after which the best projects in each category were selected to move on to the second stage, where the team was interviewed via video conferencing to explain the details of the innovation and evaluate the students in a set of criteria.
