The Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate-General of Curriculum Development, organized a ceremony to launch the Al Manar digital short story series, under the patronage of HE Prof. Dr. Abdullah bin Khamis Ambosaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, in the presence of Dr. Masooma bint Habib Al Ajmi, Advisor to the Minister for the Language Performance Development, Directors-General of the Ministry’s General Diwan and their assistants, Department Directors and their assistants, and invitees. The ceremony took place at Khasab Hall at the Ministry’s General Office.

Issa Al Anqoudi, Director of the Educational Technology Department, delivered a speech in which he said: “Digital stories are not just a new educational tool, but a powerful tool to stimulate creativity and critical thinking in our students by integrating technology with literature. They open up new horizons for our students to explore knowledge and learn in fun, interactive ways. We believe that education is the key to building a bright future, and that investing in developing curricula is an investment in the future of our sons and daughters.”

After that, HE the patronage of the ceremony launched the Al-Manar Digital Short Story Series project, which contained "eighty" attractive stories for children in "Arabic, English and sign language", and a presentation of the digital story "Ceres and Vista" in an exciting and attractive narrative style for children. After that, a video clip was shown, entitled: "Stages of Digital Story Production" that included the stages of the creative journey to prepare the Al-Manar Digital Short Story Series, which are forming the work team, the scenario, the graphic design, the audio recording, the editing and directing, and uploading the stories to the educational technology website.

After that, the patronage of the celebration and the attendees visited the digital educational content exhibition, which contained several corners, namely: the educational technology website corner to display books, educational digital content related to curricula, the educational digital content corner supporting curriculum writing committees, the multimedia corner that specializes in educational films, and all audio related to curricula, the curriculum digitization project corner that specializes in converting paper curricula into interactive digital e-books with multimedia, and the educational digital content corner using 3D technology, the artificial intelligence corner which is an assistant that answers inquiries about the curriculum digitization project, and the educational games corner that displays digital educational games related to the curriculum.
