The International Conference on Artificial Intelligence: Applications, Innovation and Ethics held, organized by the Chair of Artificial Intelligence at the Communications and Information Research Center at Sultan Qaboos University in cooperation with the Omani National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, and Sultan Qaboos University.

The three-day conference held under the patronage of HE Eng. Said bin Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology, and in the presence of HH Sayyid Dr. Fahd bin Al Jolanda bin Majid Al Said, Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University, Dr. Mahmoud bin Abdullah Al Abri, Secretary of the Omani National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, and more than (80) researchers from various Arab and foreign countries in this field.

The conference aims to raise awareness, spread the use and development of new technologies and applications of artificial intelligence, innovation using artificial intelligence and the ethics of artificial intelligence. The conference also discusses the applications of artificial intelligence in the fields of education, medicine, industry, digital economy, and energy, with the use of artificial intelligence to predict and monitor tsunamis and earthquakes, in addition to discussing the ethics of artificial intelligence.

The conference includes (15) sessions during which (90) working papers are presented by over (80) researchers of great importance to professionals, faculty members, the government sector, industrial partners, researchers, students, and those interested in this field. The event also provides an opportunity to communicate with different international groups of artificial intelligence users, and benefit from the insightful lectures presented at the conference.
