Ministry of Education Participates in the Education Technology Exhibition in London

The Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate-General of Information Technology and the Department of Educational Studies and International Cooperation, is participating with an educational delegation that includes an elite group of educators, school principals, and teachers in the Education Technology Exhibition (Bett London 2025), during the period from (22-24) of January, at the Excel London Center in the United Kingdom.

The Ministry’s pavilion at the exhibition includes a display of a number of pioneering projects that reflect the Ministry’s digital transformation and artificial intelligence efforts. These projects include: the “Noor” educational platform project, which provides an integrated digital educational environment that supports e-learning; the virtual science labs project, which provides students with an interactive scientific experience through simulation technologies; a display of the digital atlas project, which enhances the use of data and interactive geographic maps in the educational process; the digital schools project, which aims to develop the technical infrastructure of schools; the curricula digitization project to provide interactive educational books that reformulate the learning experience; a display of the vision and efforts of the new digital transformation project; and the Ministry’s artificial intelligence initiatives, which represent a comprehensive qualitative shift in the management and development of the educational process.

The Ministry aims through its participation to showcase its most prominent achievements and projects in the field of digital education. It also aims to explore the prospects of cooperation with specialized international companies and achieve comprehensive benefit from the innovations and modern technologies on display, as well as review the latest innovations in the field of educational technology and develop its projects in line with international standards in cooperation with participating international companies and institutions. It also seeks to build partnerships with international companies specialized in digital transformation and artificial intelligence and focus on enhancing the use of modern technologies to provide quality education that enhances students' capabilities and keeps pace with the rapid changes in the digital world. In addition, the Ministry aims to highlight the role, position and identity of the Sultanate of Oman to the world in the field of developing education as it is the most important area of ​​national development, and visit a number of distinguished schools, and international companies specialized in educational technologies, such as: Google and Microsoft; to exchange experiences, and explore best practices in technical and vocational education, special education, and smart schools; which represents an opportunity to enhance educational experiences and apply the best international practices in education in the Sultanate of Oman.

The Ministry’s participation in this most prominent global event in the field of educational technology showcasing digital transformation projects, artificial intelligence, and enhancing international partnerships, comes as part of its commitment to developing the education sector in the Sultanate of Oman, in line with Oman Vision 2040, and achieving the aspirations of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq to enhance the technical infrastructure in educational institutions, and to confirm the Ministry’s commitment to developing the educational process by adopting the latest technologies, digital projects and artificial intelligence, and enhancing the position of the Sultanate of Oman in educational innovation at the international level.

It is worth noting that Bett London 2025 Education Technology Exhibition is a leading global platform that brings together companies and stakeholders in the education sector, providing a unique opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the field of smart education and digital innovation. Accordingly, the Ministry seeks to benefit from this global event to develop its vision for digital transformation and enhance the use of artificial intelligence in education.
