Training Session to Spread the Culture of First Aid
The Directorate-General of Private Schools, represented by the School Security and Safety Department, organized a specialized training session for its employees under the title: “First Aid”, presented by the Head of the Department, Jamal Al-Siyabi. The training session was attended by a number of the Directorate’s employees; with the aim of enhancing their knowledge and skills in dealing with emergency situations.
The training session covered several topics, most notably: spreading the culture of first aid among the directorate’s employees and introducing them to the importance of these vital skills in their daily lives and in emergency situations. The session also provided training participants practically on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), which is one of the basic skills for saving lives in emergency situations, in addition to learning how to deal with cases of suffocation and ways to save people suffering from this condition.
Jamal Al Siyabi, Head of School Security and Safety Department, stressed during the training session that the workshop represents an important step towards enhancing safety in the work environment. He explained that first aid training is an essential element in providing school staff with the ability to deal with sudden accidents effectively and quickly, which contributes to reducing risks and achieving a quick and effective response.
