Omani School Sports Association prepares for the Gymnasia Competition in Bahrain
Ministry of Education, represented by Omani School Sports Association takes part in the Gymnasia competitions held in Kingdom of Bahrain. The nine-days competitions have 24 players in 8 different sports, where qualified players will participate in Bahrain, headed by Hashim Al-Adwani, vice chairman of Omani School Sports Association.
The Omani School Sports Association held an introductory meeting considering the participation with the eight teams trainers, where they were provided with a summery regarding the competition as well as introducing the participants to the roles of administrators and escorts.
The Omani School Sports Association continued their daily training where the basketball team is trained in Muscat, tennis table team in Al Dhahirah Governorate, the Chess team is in Al-Amal Club, the Fencing team is an external participation, the Beach Volleyball team is trained in Al-Sharqiyah South Governorate, the Paralympic Sports team is training in Bawshar, and the Tae kwon do team is also carrying out training sessions.
