Ministry of Education, represented by Center for Career Guidance and Student Counseling, Directorate-General of Private Schools, and Directorate-General of Curricula Development, participated the in EduTraC Oman 2024 Festival. HH Sayyid Faris bin Fatik Al Said patronized the three-Days festival, which includes over 50 Higher Education, Vocational and Training Institutes from 14 countries, organized by Al Nimr Expo Organization.

Ministry of Education showcased the services and activities in the vocational guidance and student counseling field, to encourage investing in the Early Education Institute and in the Private Education sector. The festival introduces international programs implemented in private schools, vocational and training, and new curricula such as the science and environment curriculum, information technology, and mathematics and science curricula according to global series.

Sheikh Yaqoob Al-Shehaimi, Director-General of the Career Guidance and Student Counseling Center spoke about Ministry’s participation, saying: “The Ministry participate annually in the EduTraC Festival due to its importance in the services offered, aiding from the educational, vocational, and academic experiments as well as the international expertise. The festival is an opportunity to communicate with both students and parents regarding questions on choosing and enrolling into colleges and informing them about technical education and vocational updates”.

The Ministry exhibited 6 pillars titled: Center for Career Guidance and Student Counseling pillar, Directorate-General of Private Schools pillar, Directorate-General of Curricular Development pillar, Vocational and Technical Education Project, and pillar for Student’s Companies, and the Accompanying activities pillar.

As for the students companies section, an estimate of 34 students company participated from several governorates which included 2-workshops labelled: Authenticated International Educational program, Career Discovering Journey.

It is worth noting that the Center for Career Guidance and Student Counseling participates annually in the EduTraC Oman Festival offering opportunities for students to visit the colleges and universitas participating to introduce their majors and programs while also providing them consulting to achieve their aspirations.
