Minister of Education meets with Specialists at General Secretariat of the Tender Board
HE Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibaniya, Minister of Education, met with HE Eng. Badr bin Salim Al Maamari, Secretary-General of the Tender Board, and specialists from the Board, in the presence of Their Excellencies, a number of advisors, and Directors-General of the Ministry’s General Diwan, at the Oman Hall in the Ministry’s General Diwan.
The meeting included an introduction to the “Takamul” project, which is a national project that aims to automate all processes related to project management and government procurement, and develop all electronic tendering procedures to be smoother, faster, and more comprehensive.
The meeting included activating the “Amana” and “Adaa (Performance)” platforms to work on procedures related to government procurement and projects. The roles of the Ministry in activating the aforementioned projects and platforms and aspects of cooperation between the two parties were also discussed.
It is hoped that this project, during its implementation, will facilitate work between the Ministry and the Tender Board, and achieve the desired goals and objectives.
