The Ministry of Education, represented by the Department of Educational Studies and International Cooperation, continues its participation in the Chinese Language Bridge Camp, which continues until the twenty-first of this month. A number of eighteen students are participating in the Camp, sixteen of whom are from the governorates of (Muscat and Al-Dakhiliyah), and two students from “My Private School”, at Tianjin University of Foreign Languages ​​in Tianjin City in the People’s Republic of China.

The Ministry’s participation in the camp includes implementing many cultural, educational and entertainment activities, visits to historical museums that explain the history of the Chinese culture throughout the ages, an Omani night to introduce Omani culture to the Chinese people by broadcasting a video clip showing Omani customs and traditions, distributing Omani sweets, some publications about culture and tourism in the Sultanate of Oman, as well as visiting the Tianjin Public Library Museum, and the Tianjin City Plan Exhibition.

The Ministry of Education aims through its participation to activate cooperation between it and the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, introduce Omani students to Chinese culture, and teach the basics of the Chinese language.
