The Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate-General of Educational Supervision - School Administration Supervision Department, under the patronage of Dr. Sulaiman Al-Jamoudi, Director-General of the Directorate-General of Educational Supervision, held an educational meeting for Head of Departments and Senior Supervisors of School Administration over the course of two days at the Maani Hotel Muscat.

The meeting targets a number of (35) head of departments and senior supervisors of school administration in the educational directorates at the governorates, with the aim of enhancing communication with head of departments and senior supervisors of school administration and to discuss the impact of supervision roles and its impact on monitoring the performance of public and private school administrations in developing the performance of the educational body, in addition to identifying educational developments in the field of school administration supervision.

The first day of the meeting included discussing developments in the field of school administration supervision, the strategic program for school administration supervisors, the electronic preparation platform, and computerizing nominations for educational supervision and school administration positions, in addition to discussing the mechanisms for activating Ministerial Resolution (330/2023) regarding the guide for candidacy for positions in educational supervision and school administration, and the role of school administration supervision in supporting integration classes in the schools of the Sultanate of Oman, pioneering experiences of school administration supervision in supporting and assisting school leaders in Al Dakhiliyah governorate and Al ADhahirah governorate, and presenting a paper on regularity and discipline for students in schools (government and private).

Dr. Maryam Al-Mandhari, Director of the School Administration Supervision Department, stated that the objectives of this educational meeting were set to enhance meaningful dialogue and provide the opportunity for effective communication between the various administrative divisions in the Ministry and the educational governorates, in an effort by the General Directorate of Educational

Supervision, represented by the School Administration Supervision Department, to achieve the best positive practices in educational supervision in general and school administration supervision in particular.
