The Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate-General of Educational Supervision, implements the private schools and the educational supervision mechanism program. The program targets educational supervisors in the Ministry’s General Diwan and in the educational directorates in the governorates. The program ends today, Thursday, and is taking place at the Specialized Institute.

On the first day, Khalid Al Kharousi, senoir supervisor of the school administration in the South Al Batinah Governorate, presented two papers. The first paper discussed theoretical and applied methods and strategies before and during the visit to private schools, and in the second paper discussed theoretical and applied methods and strategies for implementing supervisory deliberation. Today, Wednesday, Saif Al Mahzouri, senior supervisor of the geography subject at the Directorate-General of Educational Supervision, reviewed in his two papers Private Schools (Concepts - Programs - Characteristics) and the methodology for supervising private schools. The third day of the training program includes a supervisory visit to Azzan Bin Qais International School, Al-Injaz International School, and Al-Asriya International School, through which a model for the supervisory visit is applied, and the follow-up process is implemented for private schools by attending actual classes in these schools, holding a supervisory discussion, and concluding the visit with a discussion seminar about the course of the visit.

The training program for private schools and the educational supervision mechanism aims to identify the operating mechanisms of private schools, the programs, and the chains applied in them, in addition to identifying the patterns and evaluation documents used in these schools, and the tasks of the senior supervisor and the supervisor in the process of monitoring private schools.
