The Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate-General of Educational Supervision, Individual Skills Supervision Department, and the School Sports Unit, is implementing, starting today, the visitation program for schools in Al-Dakhiliyah Governorate, as part of the Directorate’s specialized visits plan for the current academic year to implement monthly meetings method for school sports as a model for the supervisory visit.

The visit program on the first day includes a school sports forum, during which models of various teaching situations are implemented in the preparation and warm-up parts, in addition to an educational tour and dialogue on school sports for some grades. The forum concludes with an educational festival with the participation of a group of students.

The visit program on the second day includes training and discussion sessions on modern methods of feedback, the mechanism for applying the updated supervisory visit form, reflective practices for school sports supervisors, a presentation on the activities and programs of supervisors, and the procedural plan in the educational directorate.

It is worth noting that these specialized visits in educational directorates in the governorates of the Sultanate of Oman aim to develop the supervisory competencies of school sports supervisors in planning and artistic practices.
