The Ministry of Education, represented by the Department of Educational Studies and International Cooperation, implemented yesterday (Tuesday) morning the training program for trainers of the “Generation Amazing” program, in partnership with the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, represented by the Generation Amazing Foundation in the State of Qatar. The two-days program targets 30 school sports teachers in the public and private schools targeted for the program, from the governorates of (Muscat, Al Dakhiliyah, South Al Batinah). The training program is taking place at the lecture hall at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher.

Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al-Mohammed, head coach at the Generation Amazing Foundation in the State of Qatar is presenting the program. The program includes an introduction to Generation Amazing, an explanation of its concept, the concept of football for development, an introduction to protection, child protection, and a football for development coach as a facilitator of critical thinking, and the process of monitoring and evaluation tools. The program also includes training sessions, in addition to a field visit to some of the schools participating in the program.

The programs aim to provide participants with skills that contribute to the development of students personally and socially, such as communication, teamwork, leadership, and respect. It also aims to provide students with the necessary skills that help face future challenges in science and technology, and to prepare them with skills to transfer experiences to school students to confront many global issues such as violence, dependency, and negativity.
