The Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate-General of Private Schools, and Horizon International Company for Organizing Exhibitions and Conferences, signed an agreement today (Wednesday) morning, to implement the EDUvest2024 Investment Exhibition and Forum for Private Schools. The agreement was signed by Dr. Khadija Al-Salami, Acting Director-General of the Directorate-General of Private Schools, and Iyad Muhammad Qasim, General Manager of the company, in the presence of Mahmoud Al-Husseini, Assistant Director-General of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Directorate, and Magda Ahmed Diab, Director of Public Relations and Marketing at the company, and a number of employees from the Directorate. The signing of the agreement took place at the office of the Director-General of Private Schools.

The agreement aims to introduce legislation, the reality of investment, and investment opportunities in the private school education sector, attract investors, facilitate administrative procedures for them to expand private school education, and enhance integration between governmental, private, and civil institutions related to private education.

The Acting Director-General of the Directorate-General of Private Schools stated: “This agreement strengthens the partnership between the government sector and the private sector and develops aspects of cooperation between the two sectors to achieve common and specific goals as seeking the help of a private institution with experience in the field of organizing exhibitions and forums will contribute to achieving the objectives of the forum.”

The General Manager of Horizons International Company for Organizing Exhibitions and Conferences said: “This cooperation between the Ministry of Education and the company comes to fully manage the exhibition, marketing it, attracting investors from inside and outside the Sultanate of Oman, and cooperating with some government agencies related to private education to introduce it to investment aspects. There will be joint committees and continuous communication between the company and the ministry in order for the conference to appear in its most beautiful light and achieve its desired goals.”
