The Ministry of Education, represented by the Center for Educational Measurement and Evaluation (Department for Evaluation of Learning in Human Sciences and Individual Skills), this morning (Wednesday), implemented the training program on project management using the (planner) application. The training program targeted (15) employees of the Center’s Departments and took place in the Muscat Hall in the Ministry’s General Diwan.
The program included a workshop presented by Hood Al-Mahrouqi, Head of the Individual Skills Learning Evaluation Department at the Ministry’s General Diwan, on training the target audience on the Planner application, which is an application from Microsoft that helps organize and manage tasks and projects. It also allows users to set priorities for tasks and define responsibilities for team members. It also enables users to track the progress of projects among team members, and enables them to create a new project, name it, and specify its start and completion dates, in addition to providing a timetable for reviewing all tasks. This application allows adding subtasks and setting deadlines for each task. It also enables sharing the project with other team members, designate them as participants, and enable them to see the tasks, appointments, comments, and attachments associated with it.
