The Ministers of Education of the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries hold their Seventh Meeting in the Sultanate of Oman

Headed by HE Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibaniya, Minister of Education, the seventh meeting of Their Excellencies the Minister of Education of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, discussed yesterday (Monday) a number of educational topics included in the committee’s agenda, the most important of which are: The directives of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the Ministerial Council: The Riyadh Declaration of the forty-second session.

HE Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibaniya, Minister of Education, delivered her speech on the occasion of the seventh meeting of the Committee of Their Excellencies the Ministers of Education of the Gulf Cooperation Council States, in which she said: “It is a pleasant occasion that our meeting coincides with our schools starting a new academic year, looking forward to it being a year full of seriousness and activity for our students, through which they will achieve more achievements in the cultural, scientific and sports fields at the local, regional and international levels.”

HE spoke about the educational work system in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and said: “The educational work system in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries is moving with steady steps, determination, and leaders, to build joint visions that anticipate the future of this vital sector and meet the hopes and aspirations of the people of our Gulf countries. This confirms the pioneering role played by our educational systems throughout their long journey to achieve their goals in various educational issues, especially those issues related to sustainable development goals.”

“Within the framework of the comprehensive quality system initiated by the ministries of education in the GCC countries, we all praise what has been achieved at the level of the school education sector in this field. The efforts made have begun to bear fruit and touch reality, as educational indicators issued by international organizations have shown that the GCC countries continue to achieve good results
