The Ministry of Education, represented by the Early Education Department, organized the a-three-day training program (Nama) targeting early education teachers in the A’Seeb and Bausher sectors. The training program aims to develop the skills of early education teachers and to identify the most important developments in this education in terms of teaching methods, activities, and interactive games.
Mona Al-Kalbani, Senior Supervisor of Early Education, said about the training program (Nama): “This training program is implemented based on a reality study of the needs of early education teachers in Muscat Governorate, which was carried out by the Early Education Department of the Directorate-General of Private Schools, and comes rich training materials, which are presented in a wonderful manner by experienced, highly qualified trainers. The program was also distinguished by its organization and coordination, which highlighted the aspects and desired goals to the fullest.”
Zahra Al-Maawli, teacher at Manarat Bousher Private School, participating in the training program, said: “We have benefited from the program and the papers presented in it, especially in aspects of thought-provoking questions, methods of effective encouragement and beautiful ideas for chants. We have gained new experiences that help us better deal with children, and we had the opportunity to display our skills and creativity in ways to diversify the class in terms of finger games and asking interesting questions.”
The training program (Namaa) aims to train early education teachers on songs and finger games for kindergartens, train them on teaching and learning methods, and introduce them to thought-provoking questions, methods of effective encouragement, and their importance in the field of kindergartens.
