The Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate-General of Administrative Affairs – Training and Rehabilitation Department, is implementing this week two training programs within the professional development plan for the year 2023. The two programs continue for five consecutive days and target 63 employees from the Ministry’s General Diwan, the Specialized Institute for Vocational Training for Teachers, and from the educational directorates of the governorates.
The first program is titled "Identification and Analysis of Training Needs" and presented by Dr. Khamis Al-Kindi, trainer of leadership sciences, administrative development, scientific research, and physiognomy at Akeed Center for Consultation and Training. The program includes the presentation of several topics, namely, training process and analysis of training needs, design of the training plan, analysis of needs and training in the workplace, training specialist and examination of offers.
The second program is entitled "Development of Administrative and Behavioral Skills" and presented by Dr. Magdi Ahmed Gouda from Mansoura University. The program includes several topics, namely, concepts of planning and organization, and their impact on institutional work, monitoring all wastes of time in and outside the work environment, how to plan according to the Edward Deming PDCA scheme, and a review of some Microsoft office applications to develop the performance and skills of employees within the institution.
The two programs aim to provide the participants with scientific intellectual and behavioral knowledge and skills, in studying and evaluating the internal work environment, analyzing the training needs of human resources, identifying the mechanism of raising the level of job performance, developing administrative and applied skills, managing priorities, and assigned tasks. The programs also aim to enhance the effective use of planning and organization of time, activities and work within the required standards, the ability to achieve the equation of efficiency and
effectiveness in proportion to the existing resources of the institution, and the acquisition of continuous improvement of skills according to the Japanese methodology.
