The Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate-General of Educational Supervision - Department of Individual Skills Supervision, implemented on  (Wednesday) the enrichment program titled “Future Skills and Enhancement Mechanism through the Leadership Role of the Educational Supervisor”. The program was held virtually through the Microsoft Teams platform and targeted a number of the directorate's supervisors.

Dr. Sawsan Al-Yaqoubi, an educational researcher delegated to the Department of Supervision of Individual Skills in the Directorate, carried out the enrichment program which aim at defining the future skills that students need, such as the skills of the twenty-first century, and how to acquire them, and the role of the teacher and educational supervisor in follow-up, and harmonizing that with the curricula, measurement, and evaluation.

The program dealt with several topics, including "defining the importance of future skills and the leadership role of the educational supervisor". Among these skills are the skill of higher thinking and critical thinking, the skill of collaborative work, and leadership in the educational process, the skill of adaptation and understanding the needs of the future, the skill of initiative, the skill of communication, the skill of possessing capabilities. The program also discussed the most important recommendations related to curricula, measurement, and evaluation.
