The Ministry of Education is participating in the 13th Conference of Arab Ministers of Education, which comes under the slogan "The Future of Education in the Arab World in the Time of Digital Transformation". The conference is organized by the Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) in the Kingdom of Morocco during the period from 29 to 31 of May.
Participating in this conference on behalf of HE Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibaniya, Minister of Education, HE Dr. Abdullah bin Khamis Ambosaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Education.
The Ministry's participation in this conference comes with the aim of discussing several educational issues, including upgrading education systems in line with the requirements of digital transformation, formulating Arab approaches and vision for the future school, and developing digital skills in the educational field in the context of this digital transformation. The Ministry’s participation also aims at developing digital infrastructure, educational administration, and teachers’ preparation for the future school.
To achieve the objectives of this conference, a number of documents were prepared, including: the main document titled: “The Future of Education in the Arab World in the Time of Digital Transformation”, the Kingdom of Morocco’s Document titled: “For a Quality Public School”, and the report of HE the Director General of (ALESCO), Minister of Education in the State of Palestine, and Chairman of the Conference (12) on the implementation of recommendations (Palestine, November 2012), the “Inclusive Education” document, the document “Features of an Arab Framework for Financing the Integration of Distance Education into Educational Curricula to Enhance Joint Arab Cooperation”, the document of “Educational Loss”, the "Implementation of the Commitments of the Common Arabic Curriculum for School Theater" document, and the "Arabic Language Month" initiative.
