The Ministry of Education, represented by the Career Guidance and Student Counseling Center, implemented this morning (Thursday) the Undergraduate Majors in Higher Education Institutions Forum at the Ministry’s General Diwan. The forum targeted all employees of the Ministry to respond to all their inquiries on choosing study subjects, updates in registering in the unified acceptance electronic system, internal and external scholarships, admission requirements at the Military Technical College, and other information of interest to students in grades ten to twelve.
Participated in this Forum from the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation: The Unified Admission Center, the Department of Postgraduate Studies and Scholarships, the Department of Internal Scholarships, the Department of Foreign Scholarships, and the Department of Recognition and Equivalence of Qualifications, in addition to the participation of the Military Technical College to introduce college programs and admission and registration requirements. The forum also included specialists from the Career Guidance and Student Counseling Center to respond to employee inquiries about the selection of study materials for students in the tenth and eleventh grades, decision-making, the role of the parents, the importance of reviewing university specializations and programs and the labor market needs prior to the stage of selecting study materials.
It is worth noting that this Forum comes in its third round out of keenness from the Career Guidance and Student Counseling Center to enhance the awareness among the employees of the Ministry of Education of the importance of staying up to date on the selection of academic subjects and university majors,
and to provide the opportunity to ask questions and discuss them with stakeholders.
