Ministry of Education holds Discussion Session on the Application of the European Excellence Program (EFQM)
The Ministry of Education, represented by the Directorate-General of Planning and Strategic Development – Department of Quality – carried out a discussion session on the implementation of the European Excellence Program from the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), at the Ministry's General Diwan.
The discussion session was attended by Suleiman Al-Ruwaishdi, Director-General of the Directorate-General of Strategic Planning, a number of directors of the directorate's departments, and the evaluating team in accordance with the EFQM model at the Ministry's General Diwan.
The discussion session presented by Kamla Al-Qarni, Head of the Department of Development and Continuous Improvement at the Department of Quality, and dealt with a number of topics among which are the executive position of the previous meeting, the experience of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation in applying the European Excellence Model (EFQM), and the challenges encountered during the application of this model, and the readiness of the Directorate in particular and the Ministry in general in applying this model.
